And this is who I am….

I was struggling to decide on who to write about next. So, I gave it some in-depth thought.  I figured you have heard enough about Lulu, Gram, Dede, and you will learn about Master Nu. I am not ready to go into Mani as of yet maybe after this one. So I figured that the next best would be for me to introduce Matthew.  Now where to start…..

The beginning…

Matthew knew from a young age that he was different. He was always good at physical activities. The problem wasn’t that he was good at them, the problem is he could feel everything. He knew when someone was coming, knew if they were a threat of not. He was always deemed a giant because of his size, and that’s why others tried to sneak up on him and beat him up. Unfortunately for the poor kid wanting a fight, Matthew also knew how to battle with whit and agility, not just bruit strength. And as the years went on along with the foster homes he found his best friend.

Now Matthew knows just what he is, he is a spirit hunter by blood. But being raised as a foster child he grew into his own man. Made his own choices and dared anyone to tell him he was wrong. He never became the hunter he was supposed to be, mainly because of his friend/brother Mani.

As a hunter Matthew was to seek out the Spirit guardians and their spirit and destroy them. So the legend goes… But Matthew had been with Mani when he seen exactly what happened when one of the spirits were killed. From then on he made his vow to protect them at all cost. So when his best friend is to become his enemy, it only makes his bond to Mani stronger.

Because this is my destiny, this is who I am.

More in book 2 about their past.  ENJOY

Always room for the bad guy.

It took many years for me to become what I am, and now they expected me to just turn over “MY” power. Ungrateful, pitiful, and weak bunch of so called spirit guardians. They can’t get rid of me that easily! I waited once for a sign of weakness I can wait for another.

Master Nu.

What can I say! this character is sneaky, underhanded and someone to not turn your back on…..

It’s a “mom” thing!

Tonight I am going to talk about Dede Ren. This is Lulu’s mom and best friend. Yes it can be done. But Dede is always a mother first.

There are a couple of secrets that Dede has ever kept from Lulu. This mom will always put her daughters heart first, before her own. When she had to sit her only child down and tell her about their families connection with a spirit world she knew it wasn’t going to be easy. Not only was there the fear of her rejection of the whole concept, but the dangers involved. The acceptance of the beast was no small matter! (Hint, Hint) No wolves, no mutated humans but something epic! Dede knew of the scars that her own mother (Gram Ren) hid all to well. Dede has to tell her one and only that she will have the fight of her life, and its only just beginning. Unfortunately there are more worries that come with her acceptance. If Lulu survives the challenge, it will be just the beginning of a lifetime of altercations, and problems to come.

See you next week  😉

SEE which character I talk about next!

Its all about the Characters…

The next character I am going to introduce is Gram, Or Grandma Ren. This is Lulu’s mothers, mom. She was a powerful woman in her day and continues to be the strong support in Lulu’s life and her new life to come. Here is a small part of their legacy that has fallen into Lulu’s life…..

ENJOY

She talked about our ancestors and our heritage since I was little. My grandparents had moved here from Greece. I sat there and listened to my mother go on and on about this ancient prophecy and how my grandmother was some Omega and how the time has come again for a new member. My mother was always going on about spirits. It wasn’t completely out of the norm for her to talk about spirits. But now she was making me a part of it.
“So you’re telling me that Grandma has a spirit within her. And now it’s time for a new one in our family?”
“Yes.”
“So, why can’t it be you?”
“Because I am not the right age, and I have already had you. When your father and I had you, it meant that the next generation was to carry on the legacy”
“What does age have to do with it?”
“Because one needs to be strong and healthy and without a mate. Our bloodline has joined with that of the spirit for generations. We protect our kind. I am too old for this, Lulu, and I don’t have the strength needed to accept the beast.”

See you again soon with another character from Master of the Spirit..
